Give them no quarter
That's my unsolicited advice for the President and Senator Reid, or whoever is the next Senate Majority Leader. You're our leaders and the time for real hardball has arrived.

In the Senate, nothing gets to the floor, except appropriations bills that have to be passed to run the government and bills the President wants passed.

If the House subpoenas records and witnesses, ask for endless clarifications. Stall. Giver them nothing. There's nothing they can do about it. They have no police to enforce their subpoenas.

Propose every popular, left of center piece of legislation and force them to oppose it.

If they don't fund specific agencies, remind them that Treasury issues checks to pay the benefits and salaries of the members of Congress and their staffs.

Develop a new dossier on every Tea Party member of Congress, every staffer, every family member. As Mr. Dooley said, "politics ain't beanbag" and you can bet they are doing that to us. Then keep the damn information in reserve. I know it's not nice but it is necessary and probably already being done in some cases.

Every time they discriminate against us, lie, cheat, steal or espouse some nutty principle, someone must call them on it in the White House, Congress, in the media, everywhere. Loud and clear.

You tried cooperation with the Republicans. You were right to try that route. It failed and some very good people were blamed unfairly by the American People. We won't win more seats and the President won't get re-elected by trying to placate these people.

Give them no quarter.

2. Democrats do not know how to fight. Or maybe, they really do not want to. It is hard to
believe that they could be so incompetent and be able to walk and breathe at the same time.

So, the conclusion must be that they share the goals of the GOP - only they are less honest about it.

4. You have a point but I think they also want to get things done
And that's hard to do even in good times. It's like herding cats.

Now getting anything done will be damn near impossible.

5. First thing...saturate the newspapers and network and channel news
everytime the republicans don't do something for the public.Make sure you yell and scream when they try to pass laws to benefit and de-regulate business. We won't get the majority of our letters, calls and email read but we should keep them coming anyway.

6. Some are expressing doubts about Reid continuing in his post
Not sure if that has any traction yet or not. I am on the fence myself

7. It's either Reid or Schumer
Schumer is a fighter but Reid probably has the votes. We'll see.

I don't think much legislation will pass anyway.
