My Take - The illusion of power shifted from well meaning Ivy League Elites
to greedy Ivy League Elites.

So, the Elites making a mere $200,000 or so a year were beat by the ones making $20,000,000 or so a year....

2. Yeah, that's how I've felt for a while
I don't believe there's such thing as "the ruling elite." There are many factions among the elites in this country all vying for power over each other. Some of these factions are well meaning and liberal minded, some are oligarchs or even fascistic.

But they're still elites and they're still only out for themselves.
