Why is Washington coming in so slowly; only 65% in with Murray hanging on to a 14 K lead.

Looks as if King County, which has a ton of votes and Murray is leading by 62-38, is coming in particularly slowly. What is going on?

1. I thought Washington was mail only voting

Plus, I think I heard somewhere that for a ballot to be official, it just has to be postmarked by election day. If thats the case, some ballots might not arrive until Thursday, then they have to be scanned.

At least thats what I've heard. I'm not a Washington resident, so please correct me if I'm wrong.

2. You're right..

I don't why they don't change it to all the ballots need to arrive by election day. There's been talk about it, but nothing's been done. Expect this Murray/Rossi race to drag out for a few days as ballots continue to trickle in..
