All you have to do is listen to them answer the question 'what will you find to compromise with the White House?' That question was asked last night. The answer? They will lay down their position and expect the White House to join them.

Any questions?

They have no intention of compromising .... and they stated they wouldn't days before the election took place.

1. This has been true for 16 years, so I wonder why some in the White House are still shocked by this

2. When the Impeachment hearings start
oh on about second of January, I wonder how long until Joe Six Pack, who wants a job, gets pissed off?

And whether they will bother to vote that pissed off in 2012...

4. There was not even a pretense that they would work with the White House...
... but there was plenty of this drabble about Repubs 'principled' positions like restricting spending, smaller government, and stating that they were going to listen to the people to take their orders..... yet for 8 years they broke the bank in spending, increased the size of government to its largest size ever, and they took their marching orders from the richest corporations that filled this pockets with money.

I guess none of that counts.
