Most Voters Think House GOP Likely To Disappoint By 2012, Rasmussen Reports
The polling firm Rasmussen is out with a relatively shocking poll given the results of yesterday's election. Here's the gist:

Hold the celebration. Most voters expected Republicans to win control of the House of Representatives on Election Day, but nearly as many expect to be disappointed with how they perform by the time the 2012 elections roll around.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds, in fact, that 59% of Likely U.S. Voters think it is at least somewhat likely that most voters will be disappointed with Republicans in Congress before the next national elections. That includes 38% who say it is Very Likely.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/03/house-gop-disappoint-2012_n_778281.html

Voters overwhelmingly believe the new Republican-controlled House is likely to vote to repeal the unpopular national health care law. They’re less confident that taxes and government spending will go down with the GOP in charge of the House.

Just before Election Day, most voters weren’t convinced that there will be a big change in their lives if Republicans won control of Congress.

Scott Rasmussen sounded the alarm in a column in the Wall Street Journal this week, noting that Democrats lost because they ignored the warning signs from voters on issues like spending and health care. Republicans, he explained, are well-advised not to make that same mistake.

-----

Fifty-four percent (54%) of Republican voters, not surprisingly, believe it’s unlikely that most voters will be disappointed with how their party performs in Congress, while 81% of Democrats and 54% of voters not affiliated with either party disagree. Yet while only seven percent (7%) of Republicans think voter disappointment is Not Very Likely, 69% of Democrats and 29% of unaffiliateds say it’s Very Likely.

That's not too early to start drinking. Because for fuck's sake, I'm not quite sure what else to do, other than storm the goddamn barricades.

They voted frustrated and uninformed.

4. Nobody really gives a crap about the health care bill or the deficit
They're just used for talking points. Both sides need to get their shit together and realize America wants decent paying jobs and more of them or we'll see even more incumbents voted out of office in 2012.

7. No matter what happens, the President will be blamed, not the House. Media will
make it all about the President in 2012. The more the republican house screws up, the more blame for the President, so it is to their advantage to make him look bad.

9. THEN WHY THE HELL DID THEY VOTE THEM IN????????
Jesus Christ. You know what the problem is? It's right here. It's the American electorate, who is too busy watching Dancing With the Stars and American Idol and wondering about which woman Tiger Woods is fucking rather than on the SHIT THAT ACTUALLY MATTERS. We have an electorate that gives NO shit until 2 days before the election, then they vote for the person with the best hair. Or the nicest smile. Or the sharpest suit.

Fuck. I just...fuck. FUCK.

17. 2012 is optimistic to wait for failure
It is November 4th today and I give them Until December 31st to show their voters exactly what they plan to do. Psst it has nothing to do with Job recovery at all.

January 1st expect the unemployement rate to start increasing.....DADT will not be repealed, laws on Wall Street will try to be repealed...so have fun.

This time I am going to rub salt into the open pourous wounds and I won't regret it.

21. Ignorant Americans threw a temper tantrum last night.
I will say it again, they deserved McCain and the depression that he would allow to happen.
Only that "hard medicine" would have broken this nations addiction to debt and instant gratification.
I have stated before that I would have allowed every corporation to fail, I meant it. I would have allowed GM to fail too.
Obama, with his MANY flaws, saved us from a depression, the people don't realize that.
