You can’t imagine how miserable it is to be an Alaskan this morning. For the first time ever I feel like I don’t fit in this state. When I first came here I admired the image of the strong, independent, and government avoiding Alaskan portrayed in books and the media. I have slowly come to realize the state is dominated by the entitlement classes, unionized thugs, and big government types. The media is dominated by elitist from Kalifornia as was demonstrated last week. I went to a republican state convention once as a delegate and was shocked to find I was sitting at a table with all state union people advocating for more state money. I thought we had a chance to stand up to the ruling class with Joe Miller. Today I realize I am not a republican any longer. I didn’t leave them, they left me.
