Don't Know If You Caught The Tea Bag Lady From Florida A Few Moments Ago On MSNBC...
Edited on Wed Nov-03-10 02:12 PM by WillyT
But I got a kick out of her stating that the Republican Party is "on Probation" right now, and that the teabaggers expect them to keep their promises and not compromise, and that they will be watching the Republicans very carefully from here on out.

She also said that since the election is over, there is no longer a reason for Republicans to be coy about where they would cut spending. In fact she expects them to come on out and say exactly where they'd make those cuts.

Silver lining... this could be great fun to watch!

3. Oh yeah.
We have enough problems of our own. I'll be happy to sit back and watch them wiggle, squirm and then finally embrace Cheney's mantra of, "Deficits don't matter".

Lots of right wing tails will be tucked in and that includes the teabagger stars.

The tea party is pretty much fooked on day one.

and I can't wait to see Boehner cowering behind the columns at the Capitol.

7. HA! Good luck with that
Wait 'til the 'baggers figure out (it will take a while, they're a bit slow) that the GOP used and tossed them aside like so much garbage. Pass the popcorn!

8. I'm investing in popcorn futures; this is gonna be good. And I think it's just a fine, fine time for
Democrats to propose genuinely progressive legislation in the House.

12. Dear Teabag Lady,
Prepare to be heartily disappointed. Keep your wacky outrage and poorly-spelled signs dusted off, you're gonna need 'em for the 2012 primaries.

Sincerely,
A soon-to-be-gleeful bystander to the bloodbath

14. As if they'll remember a goddam thing they're mad about today
The only reason they're mad is because some wealthy people who don't think they're wealthy enough have been pumping the Tea Baggers' empty little heads with phony outrage over obscure topics. Two years from now, hell two months from now, they won't remember anything about why they were so mad this election cycle. They'll have been given a whole new set of programming for things to be mad about, and damn little of it will be about government spending (except for social security, which will need to be privatized) or deficit reduction (which needs to be expanded again so that the aforementioned wealthy people can get even more Treasury dollars into their overstuffed pockets).

but got only platitudes for "answers". Good luck with that. Maybe one has to be a nutball to get results.

20. Dems in NY did better than great, too!
Many House D incumbents in the NY metro area were re-elected with 75-85-95% of the vote! In our precinct we had record numbers for a non-Presidential election and even though Rs turned out in force we still elected a Democratic Governor and both Democratic Senators. :woohoo: :applause:  :woohoo:

the teabuggers are pissed off more that ever. Once it starts to dawn on them how thoroughly they were used, and then tossed away like, well used tea bags.
