Poll question: Should Tim Kaine be FIRED as Democratic Party chair?

Seriously, when Howard Dean was in that position, he made a lot of races competitive that otherwise wouldn't have been, and primarily by making voters and party activists feel like they were heard and involved in the process, as opposed to the DLC method or courting corporate donors and talking down to the party base (essentially aping how the GOP does things).

Should we tell Obama it's time to take out the rest of the DLC garbage, starting symbolically with someone who could have used his job to get a very different outcome yesterday?

who was assured to lose. By the 2009 statewide election, the 1.95 million Obama 2008 voters had
shrunk to 0.8 mil for the Democratic candidate. That's pathetic. That's his legacy.

29. If you believe that Democrats lost so many seats

because of the candidates or their campaign, then Kaine should absolutely be fired.

If you think the Dems lost so many seats because of other factors (the economy, jobs, Chamber of Commerce money, etc...) then it's not as easy to tell if he did a good job or not.

While Kaine could have done a better job, it's hard for me to lay all the losses at his feet.
