1. It's a backhanded jab at ...
... House Democratic leaders for taking impeachment off the table for Bush and Cheney -- who really should have been removed from office.

2. I think Issa can't wait to start investigating Obama.
He's got some charges up his sleeve. I'm not up on the details, so I'd ask that you do the Google if you're interested. Something about offering jobs to people, asking them not to run for office, some such.

3. I hope they do
I also hope they run Palin... Both would be a gift to his re-election.

5. And Obama should ignore any subpoena they send.
Drive them all insane by ignoring them completely, make them look petty and foolish, and they will lose in 2012.

6. riiiiiiiight ... and what "liberal media" would allow him to do
what Dick Cheney did ... ignore court orders and subpoenas and such legal "bs" from day one?

8. Fine. They can go on ahead. I double dare them.
What do tantruming baby goppers do, try to impeach the parents.

9. They said they don't want to repeat mistakes from the nineties.
They failed in their impeachment of Clinton. Maybe they think they can succeed this time.

11. They succeeded marvelously in their impeachment of Clinton!
Not only did it paralyze the Clinton Administration, and shift the
nation into voting for Bush over Gore, it essentially immunized
the Bush Administration against *ANY* investigations into their
manifestly-crooked administration.

So what that they didn't get a conviction! The impeachment worked
like a charm!

13. All we'd need to do is point out how they used impeachment
to paralyze our government for several years. Times were good then, they aren't good now. I don't think the public would want them playing such games.

10. They can impeach for anything they wish; "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" is a pretty-nebulous term.
They won't get a conviction of course, but what does that matter?
They'll get endless useful press that will tie the Obama Administration
up in the same knots that tied-up the Clinton Administration. Sub-
poenas printed and distributed by the basket-load, a few folks caught
in "lies" as their stories naturally shift over time, it'll work swell!

Soon, it'll be the only thing on TV news and fake-news shows!
