It failed for 2 years and the people had gotten sick of their emotional manipulation prior to that, then they just took advantage of civil frustration with those same issues they don't care about themselves like jobs, and Rachel was talking about how democrats were trying to work with the republicans earlier and I think how Obama and Reid were asking for compromise; She was talking immigration, religion and energy issues and tea party nuts who are now going to be messing around in those issues, like BP kissass Joe Barton is going to be in the energy department!
They're not obstructionist to get anywhere or because it's effective and they know that America succeeding means prosperity for them as well. There's incentive for it and they might even have gotten higher numbers if they had NOT been so obstructionist. They're just like that because they're bitter and it's easier for them than just admitting their philosophies on life and law might be wrong, and this is the "Christian values" party that supports a company's "right" to screw its clients over in the name of making a buck, like Barton. Once upon a time a politician taking a lot of money from a company would look like bribery, but they made it legal.
Rachel's real message is that they're crazy, sounded like they were reading from scripts and don't want to work with dems because they want glory and power for themselves; It's not about America or justice it's about THEM.
Her last point: The opposition party usually wins the mid-terms, yet the Reps are telling us their few-point win is a special "mandate".
