What a great idea, Kasich wants public education to be run like a business w/ some privatization
and eliminating local school boards by combining them with other school boards in the

BTW he wants to kill a high speed rail system that would bring jobs and progress to Ohio

no matter what republicans think the teachers unions are very very powerful and I suspect have had people disappeared before and are probably willing to do it again. And I will never understand why they want to kill high speed trains, perhaps because it doesn't help them so its useless?

The Repub Tea Party messages have resounded with the American voters. They have duped the voters once again into thinking they are the party that will "be there for them"! It took just a few hate mongers to come up with their propaganda messages that either scared the voters or frustrated them to vote for the very people that did the damage to our economy and put the Fox in the Hen House!

Let's take a look at some of their arguments:

1). Illegal aliens will be transported out of our country (even though these people do a lot of work for this bunch - i.e. Meg Whitman)
2). It is Governments fault that your Health Insurance rates went up - (Again Government tried to put rate control in and failed because of Repub's!)
3.) The "new" Repub's aren't anything like Bush was and will bring jobs, jobs, and more jobs to the people! (Give me a break - they voted down every job initiative in the last 2 years!)
4.) People like John Kasich (Fox News Broadcaster at one time) who worked for one of the biggest, if not THE biggest thief's on Wall Street, Lehman Brothers, won the Governorship of Ohio!
5.) Tax rates for the richest in our country will stay the same - after all it is the "small businesses" who are in this group - Right - Check this article out:

18. RE: The high speed rail

I just don't see the need for it here. We have more freight than people that travel the 3c highway and our population is not near as dense as places like chicago.

High speed rail within the city would make more sense - but still not much as the commute time by car would still be less than by train, and people want to spend less time getting to work than more.

People on the 3c highway, once they get to the city of their choice, are still going to need to get around once they get there. A 1.5 hour trip by car can turn into a much longer trip and leave you without a way to get around once you get to where you are going.
