Fans of NBC's "Chuck": the show is pre-empted next week for "Chimp"

I was watching NBC Nightly News today, and Brian Williams announced that Monday night at 8PM (7 Central), NBC will show a Matt Lauer Reports special in which Lauer will interview former president George W. Bush, whose memoir Decision Points was recently published. Normally, NBC shows the action spy comedy Chuck during that timeslot. TV by the Numbers has excerpts from Lauer's interview regarding the classroom visit during 9/11, the Iraq decision, Kanye West's "Bush doesn't care about black people" comment, the resignation of Donald Rumsfeld, and Bush's DUI.

At least The Event and Chase will be broadcast as scheduled after the hourlong interview with Chimpy.
