Did Obama discourage us progressives?
Really, when he was the candidate, did he attempt to minimize progressive enthusiasm? Tell us not to believe? Maybe sorta kinda hope and change? Not at all as far as I can remember. To me, he was overwhelmingly elected to enact major changes to the system. The people were begging for it.

Oh, wait, I'm about to say something no so nice about him. Nevermind.

4. I know! We're so demanding. You know, just last week I was remembering back when Mr LL and I could..
eat every day and wishing we could do that, again.

8. "Get back to me in your own sweet time" is not a message politicians respond to, though.

3. Hillary did, and she got blasted for it on DU
She was being honest and letting progressives know not to get too excited.

Obama chose not to give a similar warning.

Of course, I supported neither during primary season, as I know a corporate centrist when I see one.

6. Well I guess that is not good for progressiveness, then
Since they are so discouraged, I guess progressiveness won't be spreading much farther.
