3. We lost a few in the statehouse, though.
But, all in all, it could have been much worse! :toast:

7. Apparently the legislature is going to be close to evenly divided
So there may be less for the governor to do at all in the coming biennium, although the legislature tends to take care of at least some business each session.

9. Yes, but without Kitz as a buffer, we might have seen some ugly stuff between now and 2012.

10. I lived there in high school and did my undergrad in Flagstaff.
It was conservative then, but more in the true sense, which I can respect, at least. I'm so sad to see people like Brewer and the others offer their destruction to such a beautiful place. On the other hand, a good friend of ours will be in the House (yes, she's a Dem), and I know she'll fight.

16. I'm going to start a big rumor
here in Ohio that there are tons of jobs that pay HUGE amounts of money in Oregon....then you can feel my pain. Your bragging isn't appreciated.

21. We have high unemployment and fairly low wages,
Edited on Wed Nov-03-10 10:02 PM by Quantess
compared to the rest of the West coast. (at least the wages here are lower than WA and CA), although parts of CA also have dismal unemployment.
