compromise on health care, social security, and education. If they don't listen then we will whip a stronger vote than the tea party and the the other thugs on the right. We support them but we will not lay down and be stepped on by a bunch of thugs with a pseudo sense of what the people need.

1. They didn't listen to you for the last two years when things were politically better, and they won't
listen now

What we effectively have is what would be considered a moderate republican if one existed

9. Obama and Clinton have been the best republic presidents since Ike - but not as good as he was.
All this shows is the impotence/non-existence of a true left in this country.

As Ted Rall says, the solution is not to reform the system, which is impossible.

The answer is to tear it down and replace it with a more humane set-up. That is going to be painful, costly, and very unpleasant.

But necessary.

8. Yeah and not just Reid and Obama. Calling my damn good liberal senator and talking
about him getting a message to Obama and the rest of the Liberal caucus.

11. The next thing the republicans are going to work on is
bringing religion into the government. I bet one of those nuts introduces a bill to let the church dictate who they want for government. Of course it is in our constitution now they can't, but with the way they overwhelming won this session and they will have two more years of fox and right wing spewing machine to change more peoples minds. It sure looks like it doesn't take too much to change the mind of a lot of Americans. Look at what they have done now. Most of them went against their own best interests by putting the republicans in. And how soon did they forget with the help of fox, giving us Beck, O'Reilly and Hannity and Rush and all the rest. How could any intelligent honest American vote for a republican - for example Feingold who lost to Johnson - after what the republicans did to this country under Bush. I tell you most Americans have really lost their minds, they gave them over to fox.

If the Democrats don't start their own movement that rivals the tea bags we are lost. They did it in the 60's with the protests we can do it now. Forget sanity and civility where did it get us. It got us the hate and violence of the right that we failed to stop. I do not condone hate and violence. I just wish we would get a group and our members of congress who show they got some damn steel spine. That really truly say "We have had enough and we are not going to take it any more". And start proving it.
