Fox News On Christine O'Donnell: 'No Plans To Hire Her'
Shortly after Republican Tea Party candidate Christine O'Donnell lost her race for the Senate from Delaware, media-watchers began speculating that she might follow Sarah Palin's path and become a Fox News contributor.

"O'Donnell would be latest case that a losing candidate can have more media juice (Palin 2.0). Could be smart for Fox to sign her," New York Magazine's Gabriel Sherman tweeted.

"Fox will TOTALLY sign her - if they haven't already," Mediaite's Rachel Sklar chimed in.

But Fox News says it isn't happening.

The network told Mediaite it has "no plans to hire her."

O'Donnell made Fox News her national media home during her campaign (as much as she did national media), following the advice of Palin, who advised her to "speak through Fox News." O'Donnell also reportedly boasted to Republicans that she had "Sean Hannity in (her) back pocket."

1. Wow. Too crazy for FOX? That's a pretty high bar!
Sounds like Quittypants' place as the only brunette witch on that network is safe.

5. I googled her and read her Wiki article
Being curious about just what she is qualified to do. In 41 years on earth, i can't make out that she's had any particular type of career. Really can't figure out what she's done and what she's qualified for.

She has never been elected to any office. She ran for the same office three times.

She has a degree in English and communications, which she just received this year, finally paying her college bill.

6. She probably will follow The Quitter's path.

Faux Snooze comes later. The first items on her agenda are writing a few books (for sale on the clearance racks at the dollar stores) and speaking engagements (there are plenty of willfully ignorant sheepies out there who will pay to be in her presence) just like Failin.

8. Eh. They'll hire her
It's a non-denial denial, like Dubya's "no plans on my desk."

She'll come cheaper if they feign disinterest.

10. Maybe not. Her saying that Sean Hannity was in her back pocket...
probably didn't go over well.

It's no secret that FOX News personalities (esp. Hannity) have actively campaigned or sponsored events for candidates but having a politician effectively brag about it probably didn't go over well.

They won't fire Hannity but they may very well not hire O'Donnell because of that statement.

9. Damn liberal media, taking away her first amendment rights!
At first they came for the witches, but I didn't say anything because I wasn't a witch...

11. I'll bet a dollar...
...she first writes a combination "tell all"/"my political philosophy" book (which will sell like hotcakes to the Palin/Beck/O'Reilly crowd), then it's off on the lecture circuit ala Ms. Palin, and then after she's milked the fools for all they're worth she'll move to Faux News. Only as a fill in at first - get her TeeVee legs back and develop a style - but then move up to a show of her own. Give it a year - bear in mind Huckleberry is going to running for prez, so that will open up a slot. My 2 cents...
