Well, one good thing came out of Tuesday's election in Missouri
We did pass a bill that outlaws puppy mills and sets standards for dog and cat breeders. I actually didn't think that it would pass here, the insanity brigade was trumpeting that it would apply to farmers, effect how dog schools are operated, how pets in a home are treated, ad nauseum. But it did pass, and now Missouri is on the road to no longer being the puppy mill capital of the country:woohoo:

1. What happened to Robin Carnahan?
Mind you I thought she was running a shit campaign months ago, but I had no idea she would be walloped the way she was. And Ike Skelton too? Is the lie machine just that strong there?

2. Carnahan got stabbed in the back
Yeah, she didn't run a great campaign, but she was getting no, absolutely no help from the national party level.

Ike, well frankly a lot of Dems were never very happy with Ike. He had milked the conservative vote for years, even though he was a Democrat, and had repaid those conservatives handsomely. But Hartzel was even more nutball conservative than Ike and undercut his conservative support. Ike came begging to liberals, progressives and moderates, but ya know, you live by the conservative, you die by the conservative. I think getting rid of Ike is a good thing, just a shame it didn't happen in the primary.

3. She ran away from the national party
She didn't want their help. She was scared to death to be connected to Obama or anything Democrats accomplished. By letting all of those lies about this administration go unchallenged, agreeing with many of the lies actually, she set the entire Dem Party in Missouri up for this slaughter. And why a nutball is better than Ike Skelton is beyond me. SHAME on the stupid "liberals" who think that and let this happen too. Oh, and if you had been SUPPORTING THE PRESIDENT to being with, your state wouldn't have been flooded with nothing but lies to spook Carnahan to begin with.

I love how you "progressives" in your own goddamn states take responsiblity for absolutely NOTHING.

5. Dog and cat breeders?

Man, that's twisted. Trying to get dogs and cats to breed is not a good idea.
