A little positive news - Brown, Schwarzenegger head to Sacramento together
Edited on Thu Nov-04-10 05:09 PM by tabatha
Someone starting asap.

Gov.-elect Jerry Brown is on his way to Sacramento to meet with legislative leaders, department of finance officials and members of the media. Brown and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger are currently flying back from San Diego together. Schwarzenegger posted this photo of the flight on his Twitter account.

Brown will meet with Assembly Democrats before addressing the media at the Department of Finance offices. He is also set to meet with Republican leaders.

Assembly Republicans are currently huddled amid another challenge to Martin Garrick's leadership. The Solana Beach Republican is facing a leadership challenge from Tulare Assemblywoman Connie Conway.

I'd so love to see Jerry turn this state around, and I believe it is his mission to do so, no ifs and buts.

1. Did Arnold ever reveal who he voted for?
Early on election day he said he would say that night but I never heard (or found it when I searched)

3. I bet it was Jerry Brown - because of environment issues.

5. Thanks, catgirl
That was nice.

I could have handled Whitman, but the thought of Carly Fiorina sitting in there for six years left me unhinged.

7. I will not be shocked if the T Man
has secretly become a Democrat... and I am not kidding

The last six months he took on way too many of the people who put him in power... especially over the environment.

Over the last two years, as much as I loathe his cuts, he has not been as bad as he could have been...
