The GOP grand scheme:Their plan was very simple. And now they're closer than ever to completing it.
1) Put the Federal government deep, deep into debt. Borrow and spend. Borrow and spend.
2) Ensure the banks and major corporate industries remain free and clear of following any semblance of the law and enrich their bottom line
3) Once the debt was too cumbersome and the dollar devalued enough, cut government spending to the bone (no more social programs, no more public education, keep up the military and State dept but that's it.

We're just about there folks.

1. They want to drown goverment in a bathtub. They've said so.
They've taken over "campaign finance", aka brainwashing, by being able to throw as much money into it as possible from any and all sources, no matter how corrupt.

I just hope the bastards live long enough to witness what they've wrought: the ruination of "the greatest nation."

4. So true, I hope they enjoy living amounst gloom and dispair, poverty, illness
and death. The stench of a decaying civilization, and years of darkness and ignorance. It's happened many times in the history of mankind, there is absolutely no reason to think this country is immune. We had a formula that worked, and they are intent on destroying what glimmer of hope is left.

10. Way back we had capitalism, now we have sociopathic capitalism. These people
obsessively compulsively preoccupied with wealth don't give a F about anyone, not even themselves. It's a purely sociopathic compulsion.

Cut taxes and government will die. Simple idea but true.
