she had bigger balls than most of her male counter parts. She fought for everything she believed in, she never backed down and gave as good as she got. The media tore her up, the Repugs made her into a villain and she never backed down.

Take note Mrs. Palin, this is what a momma grizzly looks like. This is what a bad ass looks like. She never whined about anyone picking on her. You not worthy of being a pimple on Nancy's ass.

This morning as I drove to school I was listening to local hate radio and the prick who hosts the show admitted something astounding....

He said he was going to give a much need civics lesson, because so many idiots in Tennessee had called in to the show wanting to know why Nancy Pelosi's name wasn't on the ballot.... they wanted their chance to "fire Nancy Pelosi". They were pissed off and sure a conspiracy was afoot.

12. She never complained. She never whined. She took hit after hit.

She was villified by the right and stabbed in the back by members of her own party. But this woman presided over the most productive sessions of Congress ever. More than 420 significant pieces of legislation. SIGNIFICANT improvement of the bank bailout/TARP process (along w/ Barney Frank). At times, she firmly drew a line in the sand when the Senate versions of legislation swung too far right and removed essential protections for the average consumer.

This woman is an unsung hero of the Democratic party.

You've heard her say that "impeachment was off the table." It was a mistake, and in my opinion, she's spent the balance of her role as speaker making up for that stance. Her goal was always to get the most progressive legislation passed that would help the average and struggling American as quickly as possible. Compare House and Senate versions of the legislation that did get passed by the House and Senate. See how much better the House version of financial reform looked. She did all this with MORE opposition and renegades in her caucus than Harry Reid had to contend with.

The President and WH are well aware that they would have gotten nothing passed without Speaker Pelosi. It is a shame to see her so denigrated and bad-mouthed by people of her own caucus.
