I really love Michael Moore but, he is dead wrong about one thing...
He says he admires Republicans for their backbone!
Ha! Truth is; they have no backbone at all. They are just a bunch of spineless nematodes (sorry, real nematodes, I couldn’t think of a better analogy, my apology for offending you).
The second Republicans are approached by special interest with big money, they totally cave and melt like an ice cube in Palen’s tax payer funded tanning booth. Principles be damned!
What am I saying?! They have no principles.
Every last Republican has lay down and rolled over under the pressure from their big money donors, along with the threat of a hard ear smack from the one “man” they fear the most, Rush Limbah.
So, what can we do?
First off; forget the Republicans! They are a lost cause. They can not be shamed into doing the right thing because they no longer have a conscience. They will continue to be an inarticulate quivering mass on the chamber floor, not daring to anger their corporate masters.
What we have to work on are the Democrats. There is some decalcification going on in their spines too.
There is a great deal of anger on our side now, let’s take this powerful energy and use it to shore up the backbones on the Left. Make phone calls and write letters everyday. Remind them, who they are working for and who put them there, and what direction they need to go.
Do not despair, we can embolden them. They just need to know, we are still here.

1. Yes, but when push comes to shove, and the 'Pugs want to get their shit through Congress,
They do stand up and fight, fight hard. The Dems, as we've seen for the past decade plus, they fold like a wet paper bag and go home.

Moore is right, the Dems don't fight anymore, even for issues that the people overwhelmingly favor. Until they do start fighting, their support is going to be tepid at best.

2. MM was not wrong -
They fight very hard to maintain their ownership status and most of all their money. They may be assholes without morals, but they are not spineless.

4. I agree with Moore. Why do Republicans win. They show
strength and belief.

I do not agree with their beliefs or solutions.
They understand the majority of the American People
like strong decisive leaders. They know they can
votes of people who do not agree with them by
projecting their party as strong and ready to
take charge. They capitalize on this. Look at
all the votes they got from people who really
do not agree with their philopshy.

America likes take charge leaders. How did GWB
get elected to 2 terms. Take charge and decisive.

This is not to say it is right or wrong--just the
way things are.

How did the Tea Baggers get ahead so fast. Tough
and take charge.

6. Another thing he has wrong, is that he thinks the democrats can win by attacking eachother
and pushing eachother to go further left. wrong. the republicans win because they follow in lock-step. they vote AS ONE. we do not. we hand the victory over tot he repukes because we jump on naderite bandwagons. unfortunately, mr. moore and others on the left, will be encouraging someone more left than obama to run against him in 2012 and we will lose to the republicans.

we stand together, we win. we don't, we lose. it's a simple formula.

7. It's the difference between Zapp Brannigan & Kif Kroker.

Kif is sort of wimpy, vaguely foreign-looking, & has a weird name. But he's usually right, and can be relied on to save the day.

Zapp is confidant, heroic, white, heterosexual & always ready to command. But he's always wrong, and can be relied on to fuck things up royally.

Without a damn good reason, Americans will always vote for Zapp.

9. That's a kind of twisted view of what he said. He actually stated
that the non-ideological portion of the American electorate (which actually makes up the majority) appreciates candidates that project strength, toughness, intelligence, and an ability to get the job done!

Quite frankly, Obama and many of his fellow Democrats haven't been doing a great job of this. Denial is not helping...

10. It's spelled "Limbaugh". You can't have Limbaugh without the "ug".
