Ferrell continues to lead “Hollywood’s most overpaid” list

He can be a little condescending in interviews. Ask anybody.
Kind of an “I’m funny, don’t you DARE try to amuse me ” vibe.
But with Will Ferrell’s latest vehicle — the animated “Megamind” — opening today, here’s an awkward question.
“So, you’ve topped the Forbes Magazine list of most overpaid Hollywood actors for the second year in a row. Not really a question, but what’s your reaction?”

Forbes reports that Will F.’s movies earn $3.35 for every buck a studio invests in paying him.
Eddie Murphy, also “overpaid” by the Forbes formula, returns $4.45 for every buck invested.
Shia LaBeouf’s ongoing studio popularity may — just MAY — tie into the fact that the guy’s movies doing $81 for every dollar they pay the kid

Drew Barrymore is a bust, investment-wise. No shock there. Even her good films are underperforming.

The list is long and brutal. Denzel, Jim Carrey (over and done with), Tom Cruise and Matt Damon, even Adam Sandler (very high salaries offset his many hits), Seth Rogen (Not there) and Vince Vaughn (fading as he fattens).
