I get infuriated when they use the all-inclusive word "Americans" when their leaders speak about for example.. HCR, Climate Change, Tax Cuts (Bush and otherwise) "Our Country" "Socialism" "National Debt" "Free Trade" the War on Terrorism, Defense/entitlement spending, ect...So they obviously will use their '10 MANDATE as their platform for '12 as every American voters' COMPLETE "repudiation" of all that has and/or will be accomplished by the Obama administration since his election, as well as what Democrats in Congress have passed into law since they gained the majority in '07.

It is as if the Rethugs and MSM infer that THEIR POSITIONS on national/states issues are UNANIMOUSLY agreed with by ALL (true) Americans, and those who vote in opposition or disagree are so small and insignificant in number that they simply do not need to be acknowledged to exist as citizens/voters at all. Just like Native Americans and independent/third party voters are mostly, if not completely ignored by both parties, unless for the latter, it is an election year.
