3. To be taken seriously, I think we need to wait until he actually becomes Speaker,
THEN we can bury him.

At this point, it's still technically Pelosi's show, so ...

But I'm in the minority here. I'm going to wait, though. My ideal fantasy is for us to be silent then on his first day in office WHAM! Take down the phone lines, send so many faxes the machine starts smoking, and clog up his e-mail so he can't make an appointment for tee-time at the club. Every fucking day.

5. Tempting as that is, it just turns us into a mirror of the
Republicans. We need to do the hard work of educating the population if we want to actually govern and not engage in tit-for-tat. I think the key thing to keep in mind is that the Republican's ultimate goal is to shut down the government. Why should we help?

7. You present an excellent, excellent argument. Just not as fun to think about,
but ultimately what would best serve us all. :hi: :patriot:

Override that veto! And none of the 2/3 majority EXCUSE!!!!!!!

And why aren't we back in Iraq! Those people are trying to kill us. Congress has the power to declare war! Why hasn't it declared war on Iraq right fuckin' now! and Yemen!
