Why did Bush even bother to "write" a book?

Why not just skip the pretense and make an infomercial? He could hire this guy and not even change the name of the product.

the lies that are the basic of his refinished 'legacy'.

I mean, I got the whole plant-the-memes part, but I didn't think of them using their publishers to funnel him his payment for services. Good point.

4. You can tell George Bush's heart isn't in it...

I saw some snippets of him in one of the interviews. He's
so sloppy and uninterested in what he's saying and doing.

A reporter asked him about what he reads and listens to
on tv. He says he watches no tv and he then stammered
around trying to remember what he reads. It was pathetic.
This is not a man who is interested in politics, the world
or anything beyond the brush pile in his backyard.

Daddy wants this. This is the Bush family doing damage
control, so when another Bush emerges in '12 to run for
President--the public will have replaced some of the horror
with new images of George redefining himself.

This is a salvage operation, so the family can continue
to wield power for decades to come.
