MSNBC's tag is "The Place For Politics" - not "The Place For News". Yes we need

better journalism from NEWS organizations, but I've never viewed MSNBC that way. It's political COMMENTARY not the Nightly News.

This has nothing to do with Keith's 'suspension' but it's bugged me for a long time when people criticize MSNBC for not being more objective or whatever - they don't have to be, IMO. It's just opinion (with a lot of facts, to be sure!)

I'm not writing them off. I learn so much from ALL the shows (except Morning Joe) that I wouldn't learn elsewhere, and I love hearing people of like mind reinforce my beliefs.

I'm very sorry about Keith - one of the best and I think he was a big part of MSNBC's success. I hope something can be worked out and that next time he either doesn't sign such an agreement or that he's more circumspect about his donations.

They got rid of 'The Place for Politics' recently and replaced it with 'Lean Forward'.
