It should be clear to anyone now that Keith is not an objective journalist.
He lost that years ago when he started those Special Comments. It's OK. That's just not what he is. He's got views and he lets people know them. It's not the end of the world.

His employers either shouldn't have let him be that way in the first place, OR they should let him be him.

I can't understand why they're getting rid of the guy indefinitely. Aren't they going to lose money on this?

1. If he's not seen as an "objective journalist" (but a commentator) ...
Then why should it matter to NBC? It sounds like
their policy is more to keep their "news people"
objective. Why should KO be treated differently
from Joe Scabrous or BatPukeAnnan, who aren't
reporters but more like pundits?

What's egregious is Faux having A SHITLOAD of
potential 2012 CANDIDATES on their payroll, giving
them plenty of time to comment/build followings/
RAISE MONEY potentially ...

Double standards abound. Ridiculous!

6. I'd like to think MSNBC, while biased for our side...
Is a tad bit more ethical.

HOWEVER, they should really allow Olbermann to be pundit like fellow.

2. "shouldn't have let him be that way"?
It's a commentary/opinion show, now a news broadcast, and I've never seen it pretend to be anything else.

7. KO has more facts on his program in one night than Faux has in a year.
