16. boy howdy, I would watch
I love Keith and I think he is single-handedly responsible for nudging MSNBC onto the direction it's going now (by which I mean towards the left, not towards Overreactionville as in Griffith's decision today) and there aren't words to express how grateful I am to him. I admire him very, very much for being, as far as I know, the first person in the MSM to say that the emperor has no clothes and to never give up on calling politicians to account for their statements and actions. And I love him most of all for mentoring Rachel.

However, if Alan Grayson were to magically get a one-hour nightly news show, I would never deprive myself of the sheer pleasure of watching it. And, of course, I would want to support him. If it's Keith's decision not to come back to MSNBC, I can't imagine he'd be anything other than thrilled to have Alan Grayson take his place.

11. No, and if Grayson decided to take that show after what happened to Keith...

12. presuming they wanted to get rid of a loose cannon
who doesn't take orders, he'd be the last guy MSNBC/Comcast would want to replace Keith with. If one of their hosts flies off the handle, they want to be able to admonish and threaten to terminate him/her and have him/her react by crying and apologizing like Ed did. Keith or Grayson would respond to threats by saying fuck you, I dare you to fire me.
