My Wife's two cents:
What happened to Keith Olbermann today is a by-product of the Citizens United decision.

By saying Corporations where equal to a human being when it came donating money it opened a pandora's box of Corporations treating human workers wrong.

After all. They Fired Keith for not getting permission first before donating. Ask yourself this WHERE ELSE in America would does anyone have to get permission from their boss to do anything on their personal time with their own money? Put yourself in this situation. Why should Your boss have the right to decide what you do on your own time? Would you like it if you started working for a company and suddenly a Company Rep came to your house demanded entry and started telling you that you can only have 2 pillows on your bed instead of 4?

We have a congress that has just been bought. What kind of legislation will come from this body will be anyone's guess and Most peoples nightmares.

What's to stop these people from passing laws saying that everyone's vote needs to be published in the news papers? What's to stop these people from destroying fair business practice.

How many people live or work in an Employ at Will state?

In Western PA there are several towns that started out as Company towns. Anyone remember from history what that was?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Company_town

The railroad industry had a lot of towns like that. Watch the corporations try to do something like that again.

Don't laugh and say she's crazy. No One thought we would get the Citizens United case ruling as we did.

Notice how Most media didn't report the Comcast buying NBC? If one TV company can do it what's to stop another company? And instead of Company towns we have Corporate towns where 3 or 5 companies owns EVERYTHING in that town and employs everyone and decides what they can watch and what they can buy and IF they can have job.

We are getting primed for such a situation.

4. Corporations already do a lot of what you mentioned
Drug testing of employees (that will reveal if they may
have ingested illegal drugs ON THEIR OWN TIME, or maybe
just had a little too much to drink -- LEGALLY -- the
night before), credit checks (to make sure you're being
"responsible" about your spending -- ON YOUR OWN TIME).
It's ridiculous how intrusive corporations have become.
Yet the teabaggers want to rail against GOVERNMENT being
too involved in our lives -- conveniently overlooking
how corporations already do control so much of what we
do ... if we're fortunate enought to even HAVE a job.

:argh:

6. This decision came from a much higher source than Phil Graham.
I knew the winds would change with the election, but I never could have imagined
they would be this blatantly obvious.

If we allow this to happen, be sure the few others we trust, Maddow, McDonnel ect. will all be on notice.
