The comments are hysterical, don't think the baggers know about this yet but to put it in perspective. The GOP leaders just told their baggers to sit down and shut up...Great article...

2. The ban on earmarks was stupid, anyway
An earmark just means that the money appropriated is dedicated to the project it's appropriated for. It keeps money intended for, say, a school doesn't get re-directed to a sewer project for a new gated community.

Anyway, it will be interesting to watch the Tea Baggers get mad, stamp their little feet, and then fall into line behind their leaders like good little boys and girls. Four weeks later, they won't even remember the vital issues that made them so angry.

3. I was surprised they knew what an earmark actually was. Wait until
the GOP leaders start their attempt to spend on their little projects. Baggers won't know what hit them. 2012 is starting to look better all of the time.

4. The young right is obsessed with them

Nothing more corrupt in their eyes than a Rep or Senator being expected to bring home Federal tax monies to their own district or state.
