A statement tonight from Keith Olbermann
might set a lot of things straight tonight, including his side of the sory and whether or not it's true that he did it on purpose like some people have been speculating until them I hear something from him I think I'll reserve judgement and feel that concerning myself too much with it might be a waste of time

1. I really wish the ratings would go negative. "I'll reserve judgement"? WTF?

7. The evidence is in; reserving judgement is bullshit. The corporation admitted it.

6. He probably has a very good reason to sue, in which case he should remain mum.
I've never heard of a policy being selectively applied and enforced... not to mention suspending someone WITHOUT PAY. Usually you suspend with pay, pending an investigation or analysis of an alleged contract or company policy.

They didn't even dot their Is or cross their Ts with this decision.

They clearly want Keith gone (likely for his influence) and are willing to pay big $$$$$$ to make it happen. (If Keith sues, this will never go to court; I'm sure Comcast will provide a generous settlement.)
