Did Olbermann or MSNBC Actually Pull the Plug on "Worst Persons" Segment?

Ever since Olbermann pulled the plug on the "Worst Persons in the World," which was a staple of the show, and a book title (of his), I have wondered to myself whether he was forced or pushed into ending this segment.

In light of this situation, I not only ask myself this again, but wonder what others here at DU think?

Isn't kind of oddballish to think Olbermann all of a sudden pulled the plug on "Worst Persons" but that he may bring it back in the future if it's warranted?

After all, most often this segment targted right-wing jerks and perhaps the corporate bosses did not like it at GE/NBC/MSNBC.

it was unsettling at the time and in retrospect there is something really smelly about it. x(

Edit: wanted to add I think he pulled it himself but I wonder if he was trying to pull back or something.

I feel fine, don't really need to know who is correct or not, however from personal observations, anyone with over a few millions of assets, are not able to defend their humanity. With that level of obligation most in those categories fail miserably.

Nor is it a just rule, besides all that has to happen is to change what 'gold' is and suddenly everything flips around, and the rules applied back would not work out for those that believe that.

So I think representative democracy with education and accurate information systems are best.

9. I think maybe he pulled it as a last ditch effort to appease the

new Comcast suits, because he already knew the suspension was coming and thought maybe that would mollify them. I do not think he would have done it unless he was being pressured.
