1. I call Verizon every few months asking about FiOS. Not even on their radar screen at this point.

11. Verizon suspended their Fios buildout a few months ago....
they're building up what areas they cover now before doing more.

2. we already have satellite, but roadrunner internet. we are considering dumping the satellite
and going off air and just watching via the internet whatever we want to watch.

5. Frontier (formerly Verizon).
I had considered going back to Comcast because all I want is internet - no tv or phone, but that idea is shot.

.. but is Liberty communications. DirectTV was sold off long ago...

But I do agree, get DISH, they have BBCAmericaHD... Direct refuses to pick it up

13. I made that switch over a year ago.
I still have to replace my Comcraptic phone and internet though. Unfortunately, nothing available in my area is as fast as Comcraptic. :-(

I think it's coming out in a week or two and for a non tech kind of person like me it looks like something that would be an easy fit for me. Basically it's the internet on your tv....

19. we just switched TO comcast from Directv
Directv pissed me off, and Comcast offered everything we watch on satellite, plus internet and phone for the same price as just tv on Directv. So we switched.
