Wait, wait, hear me out! This man, in a thoughtless moment of pique, suspended one of the favorite anchors on his network and now he's had to spend the day with the network lawyers listening to illegal this and illegal that and quid pro quo and the many other Latinisms that lawyers love and during the whole day, he's been wondering if he's going to lose his job. Then, when he finally gets back to his office, he finds 90,000 emails, none of them saying, attaboy Phil. Then he hears that the network is being boycotted and then he starts hearing from the sponsors who are also hearing about boycotts. All of this before 9pm on a Friday.

If Phil has a wife, he's going home to get an earful from her. She doesn't want to have to deal with him being unemployed and sued on top of it.

Now, Phil gets to wait out the weekend, knowing that on Monday, he's going to have to reinstate Olbermann, a man he's never really cared much for and worse, he has to apologize to him too, and while I'm sure Olbermann will be somewhat gracious, he really has no responsibility to be. And then, Phil gets to find out if he keeps his job.

This week has ended very badly for Phil and doesn't look to be getting any better any time soon.

Poor, poor Phil. :evilgrin:
