GE Suspended KO, Because Obama Said “No” to “Cap & Trade”

I don’t say “I told you so” nearly as often as I could. However, a few days ago, Obama remarked that “Cap & Trade” was now a dead issue. The Koch funded Tea Parties are especially down on “Cap & Trade” since it would cost their donor money.

At the time, I said that GE/MSNBC would drop its support for Obama. If you look back at some of my old journals, you will read about how GE stands to make a gazillion dollars off “Cap & Trade.” When Obama gave an energy speech and did not talk about “C&T” both Fineman and Tweety commented upon it. “Cap & Trade “ was part of why GE supported Obama (the other part is nuclear power).

Now that he has signaled that he can not deliver the goods, GE/MSNBC has decided to cut its ties with him. KO, Obama’s most visible supporter at MSNBC, had to go….

I, for one, am not surprised at all by the news network’s move.

Maybe KO will "just say no" to GE and look for a job elsewhere.

Suggest some other ways they can help clean up the environment in their lame duck session. GE is holding KO over a cliff threatening to drop him if the Dems don't deliver. Dems need to tell GE "Screw you, too."
