5. Surprisingly she didnt disagree with KO being reprimanded
Edited on Fri Nov-05-10 09:05 PM by MadBadger
What she did though was use this as an example of how Fox News is a political organization while NBC is a news operation, because Fox lets their people openly advocate and donate to Republican candidates right on the air.

NBC made their point, but she just wants Keith Back. I think she doesnt have a disagreement with him being reprimanded, but the suspension is probably too much in her eyes.

8. She understands the rules and why they are there...
She compared Faux news and said it was a political operation unlike MSNBC which is a news operation. This is why there are different standards. This also puts to rest the notion that MSNBC and Faux News are the same. She also basically said that Keith should be brought back.

Also, she pointedly said "temporarily suspended" in regards to Keith. Unlike the other sources which said "indefinitely". I thought that was quite telling.

2. God, I love Rachel. That, my friends, is why Bill Kristol is so
eager to add Keith to his list of victims. Rachel just pointed out the difference between Fox and them.

6. Yes
Said there are rules on the network and that no one should be exempt from the consequences, but the main gist of it was how FOX quite literally WHORES for the Republican party (openly) 24/7

4. she's also given MSNBC management a "graceful" way out of this mess
OK, they made their point. That's now MSNBC is different from FOX. We get the message. Now, please bring Keith back!

And what has Keith accomplished? He's shown MSNBC management that he has a very large loyal following ... don't mess with them!!!

9. Did anyone notice that Rachel said "temporarily"...
rather than the "indefinitely" that's been thrown around?

I thought that was very telling.

10. I didn't hear it that way.
I felt she was almost justifying MSNBC's position. What did I miss?

11. Rachel could read the telephone directory with commentary & still be
the best show on MSNBC...

And the best thing is that we all learn from her. She shares her knowledge and is not afraid that we'll be as bright as she is because she keeps learning and sharing, learning and sharing..

I love her.

Keith, I love, because he courageous and says what he thinks, even if he gets in trouble.

The right would love to knock these three, with Ed Schultz, down once and for all.
