On "Real Time" just now Fareed Zakaria called Darrell Issa a coward

He said that people who use euphemisms when discussing budget cuts are cowards. It was right after Issa (R-CA) used phrases like "we have to deal with" the budget.

My phrasing is all paraphrasing except for the word "coward". But the discussion is all about how to bring down the deficit and square what the government takes in vs. what it has to spend.

Did my ole heart good to watch Issa's face fall a little. I knew Zakaria was going to dig in a verbal shiv tonight and I was rewarded with it in the first half hour of the program.

Issa was all about going through the 16,000 page tax code to close loopholes and Zakaria jumped in (my words): "You've proposed raising taxes on the rich!"

Will the Dems ever pick up on this shite?

He wouldn't STFU, answered all questions/commented when and where he was clearly not invited, overspoke everyone else on the panel, talked over Maher. I was heaving when it was finally over.

Message to Bill Maher: I love you man but if you bring Issa on again, I'm done with your show.

You can't cut the deficit without hitting thedefense budget AND raising taxes. I noticed Issa didn't say anything after that pronouncement.
