2. I more often disagree with Maher than Stewart.

Maher thinks he's right about everything, and has the unfortunate habit of bringing right wing guests on his show and expecting rational discourse to be the result. But in this case, he's dead on target. Keith can go over the top sometimes, even to the point of bombast, but he isn't in the business of just making shit up the way Beck is.

4. Maher should do his own rally.

It would be interesting to see the gloves off on the liberal side. Stewart and Colbert did a brave thing, and I watched it with chills and tears. It would be good to see Maher take it a step further.

5. I'd like to attend a Bill Maher rally someday

and I'm a big fan of Stewart and Colbert. i think their coverage of the news is better than the cable networks (Olbermann, Maddow and O'Donnell do a terrific job untangling truth from lies --but they are the exception).
