I was watching the latest Tropical Tidbits and apparently Tomas is embedded in a MONSTER trough that goes from Canada all the way to Panama and is interacting with the Intertropical Convergence Zone :wow:

when you have one weird weather event (this is one of them) ok. fine.

But we have many of them as PREDICTED by the science.

But the kids are holding hearings on whether Global Warming is a hoax!

For the record remember the LOW over CONUS last week? I do... that was the Lowest LOW over CONUS since we started to get data.

And it is HOT round these parts and it is NOVEMBER... like shorts hot.

4. It's been chilly here in NM

but this is the latest the leaves have stayed on the stupid mulberry tree in my front yard. They're usually on the ground the third week of October.

5. With all of these weather events,

and the issue of global warming, it is almost like someone asked Mother Nature is she can handle us and she said: "Oh, let me count the ways." then proceeded to just hit us every which way.

Worst of all, this is not even the strangest or the strongest some of these natural happenings can get. I is going to get way worse before it ever even comes close to getting better.

Maybe those naked dancing men at Mt. Merapi have the right idea. We are so fucked if we don't settle down and stop fucking up this planet soon.
