They don't have to wait until the new thugload arrives in January.
The continuing resolution thingie needed to keep the government operating is up in the lame duck session and anyone can filibuster it in the Senate.
I hope one of the nuts tries because it would put the question to the pug caucus long before they were ready to deal with the scenario. (Like maybe having an alternative resolution.)
Any teabaggers reading this... This is a super good idea! You really want to get agitatin' on this one.

Perhaps the President will internalize it then... they cannot be talked to, or compromised with. It is not in their DNA... and no, it is not about color, but about being a DEM in the WH... that is the problem.
