Do you think Keith would accept a position at Fox ?
He would be much better than Alan, we would have someone on our side to help turn things around over there.

25. I thought it was
the other way around. Fox is run by the enemies of America and the GOP does their bidding.

17. It would be a huge gamble over there
Probably why it's not too likely. But I wouldn't say it's totally out of the question. Ratings are what matters most to them, IMO -- the blowback from viewers and on-air personalities might be scary though. Bill-O alone would absolutely go nuts. But on the other hand, they'd all in the end have to sit there and take it -- and his hiring probably wouldn't have a long-term negative impact on the operation. If KO fans followed him (I would bet they'd put him in at 10pm) and some Fox viewers watched just to yell at the screen, you'd have higher ratings right there. Don't count on it. But don't count it out either.

34. I just don't think they're more interested in ratings than in furthering a right-wing agenda...
In any case, I don't think I could follow anyone over to Fox.

36. Just a guess, I guess
I have no way of knowing. I'm sure opinions are divided and plenty of people who make the decisions at Fox probably want both equally and see the two goals as intimately connected. I do remember KO once saying that he believed that if Rupert Murdoch thought he could make more money with a liberal network that he would do so in a heartbeat. Of course he probably has no way of really knowing that either. Still. Stranger things have happened. If he doesn't return to his old slot at MSNBC (and he probably will), he'll be looking for a new gig with lots of exposure, a nice paycheck, and creative control. Fox certainly has the ability to offer all of those things.

But I think he would go there if offered big bucks. And it would be good for the Fox audience if his show was one in which the facts are pointed out and discussed.

35. He might accept a job from Fox only on his own terms and
conditions -- and among them, he must be allowed to say whatever he wants to.
Fox would never agree, of course.
