I need the answer to two questions (any help would be appreciated)

What time zone does the website run from and does Verison wireless run its signals from the US to Canada back to the US?

2. I tried to access my facebook from my mobile phone.

It blocked me (not sure if I set it up or not) so when I got home, it said a cell phone had tried to access my account and asked if the information was familiar. The hour the cell phone email tried to access the Facebook at 4:25 pm but I tried to access it at 7:30 (hence the time zone question-are facebook accounts automatically set at a certain time zone). It said the attempt was from an unknown Blackberry (I have a Blackberry). It said the IP address was from Canada (I'm in NC) hence the routing question about going through Canada. I'm trying to determine if it was my call from my phone or was it someone else trying to access my account by email on a Blackberry cell phone.

3. The time stamp that shows up on individual posts correlates with Eastern time.

At least it does where I am.

8. Research In Motion/RIM/Blackberry routes their IP traffic

through their headquarters in Ontario Canada, Facebook's server farm is in Daly City CA, hence the time differences.

7. You mean what time zone DU runs on?

If that's the case, whatever zone you want. Under preferences there's an option to change the time that display for posts. The default is GMT.
