Washington (CNN) -- Who is John Boehner? Among friends, he's just one of the guys.

When the Republicans gained majority power in the House of Representatives Tuesday, the man poised to lead them was brought to tears.

That evening, Rep. John Boehner of Ohio, who will soon become the new speaker of the House, told supporters, "I spent my whole life chasing the American dream."

With tears forming and his voice quavering, Boehner recounted details of his life growing up in southwestern Ohio: "I started out mopping floors, waiting tables and tending bar at my dad's tavern. I put myself through school, working every rotten job there was and every night shift I could find."

Of course the corporate media is sucking up as the GOTB still thinks it won more the other night than they really did. The overplay has already begun as the corporate media tries to build up this shitstick, whose popularity ratings are in the Cheney range. A couple predictions...

First...the knives will be out for him early and often from within his own party. He's a corporate hack through and through and won't play nice with the teabaggers. Watch the egos clash big time between him, Bachmann and Pence.

Next...I expect some scandal to show up...not on Democrats, but on the "business as usual" games that Boner has played in the past and the GOTB is sure anxious to play again. And somehow I suspect a bimbo eruption in the future.
