What role did two Arizona teabaggers have in the suspension of Keith Olbermann?
I still find this quote fascinating, and no one is addressing it. I don't know if it is just bravado, or if they really played a role. If they played a role, did GEM$NBC suspend their prime time star because two teabaggers complained? Who was the 3rd player?

Or here's another way of looking at it from Grijalva's challenger Ruth McClung from her Facebook page:

I will happily take 1/3 credit for the “indefinite suspension without pay” for Keith Olbermann! I am also proud that Jesse Kelly from my neighbor district can take another 1/3 credit. Go Arizona. We were 2/3 responsible for the removable of Keith Olbermann. Should Raul Grijalva ever want of boycott Arizona again, w...e will have to find another show to proclaim it on.

2. I am asking who was the 3rd person who helped suspend Keith Olbermann
Ruth McClung is the teabagger opponent of one of the candidates to whom Olbermann donated. Jesse Kelly is another Arizona teabagger who apparently helped her suspend Olbermann. Who was the third person that helped them? To whom did they complain?

They are taking credit for suspending Olbermann. I think we should know how they did it!

3. Politico for reporting it?
I wonder who told Politico, could that be the third party?

I'd sure like to hear Keith's side of this. It's not like him to be silent. Was he told the best way to get his job back was to keep quiet about it?

6. He's probably keeping quiet on advice of his lawyer
And I suspect it's more of a question of getting paid rather than getting his job back.

As far as who told politico, I would look at one of his "colleagues" at NBC, one who has a history of undercutting those at the network who are more popular than he is:

4. I think she's just talking about Rand Paul there
That's what I gather from the statement. I think she's just saying that these were the people that Olbermann was 'donating against' and the contributions were what got him in hot water. I don't think they had any direct involvement. Maybe they called MSNBC with the tip, but that doesn't mean much since his donations were public record anyway.

5. Exactly
You beat me to it. :)

McClung isn't suggesting she and Kelly had a direct role. Only that Grijalva and Gabrielle Giffords needed the funding that came from contributors like Olbermann because of the strong challenges McClung and Kelly made against them.

The third person would be Conway's challenger for a Senate seat from KY, Rand Paul.

7. You are probably right. They probably looked at their opposition's donors frequently.
Perhaps we ought to look at theirs?

8. COMCA$T/M$NBC, not GE/M$NBC. Comca$t bought M$NBC from GE
earlier this year.
