Pay-Go
We should tell the Repugnants to go ahead and cut taxes for the rich, as long as it's completely paid for, as in "Pay-Go".
Lay out the exact spending cuts that will pay for tax cuts for the rich, and in the spirit of transparency, make the proposed cuts public so the people can see exactly what will be sacrificed on the alter more money for the moneyed.

1. Unfortunately, we Dems made it too easy for them.
Certain of the tax cut extensions were exempted from the paygo rules. Because we knew we wanted to extend them too and didn't have a way to pay for them.

Anyway, unless they completely repeal PAYGO, which the Tea Partiers out in the real world won't like, it will catch up with them eventually.

3. ok, i don't lierally mean the paygo legislation,
but lets just insist that they make the proposed cuts deficit neutral. Let them explain to the teabaggers how suddenly deficits don't matter. Let them say that they pay for themselves through increased tax revenue. let them show where that happened with the bush tax cuts. While they're explaining all this, watch the smile fade from the faces of the teabaggers...

4. You're right. As I said
it will catch up with them eventually. It just may take a while. The other factor to consider is that teabaggers care more if their own taxes go down than they do about spending. So more tax cuts will also play like "bread and circuses" for a while. And then folks will realize there are no more roads, unemployment benefits, or SS checks . . .

2. I thought they already voted against "pay go."
Spending only matters when Democrats are doing it.
