4. "One hunnert Fifteh One THOUSAND!"
Even though these are the October numbers and they're not "in charge" until January, if there's any kind of a hiring surge from now on . . . GUESS who'll get the credit.

And you can bet these corporate arch-conservative sons-of-bitches are going to start loosening the purse strings on that 1.8 trillion they're sitting on. MARK it.

10. reality sure as hell didn't prevent the Republicans from blaming this recession
on Obama, even though it started under Bush.

Of course, reality didn't stop them from blaming the 2001 recession on Gore saying "count all the votes" ... as soon as the election was sealed by a 5-4 vote by the SCOTUS, the market ran downward ... and the Republicans/freepturds suddenly were quiet on how the stock market was reflecting the "joy" of Bush becoming president.

7. The day new republithugs are sworn in we need to call all of them DEMANDING jobs!
All of us need to call every new senator and representative and ask them where are the jobs. We need to call them every day and flood their lines with thousands of phone calls. We could post their local and Washington office phone numbers on DU and then call them constantly.

9. I am sure you are aware that the same people who were in congress
two weeks ago are still there. If anything gets done between now and January, it will be those folks who do it.

But, seeing as how so little has been done for a couple of years now, I don't think we should expect much. Oh wait, they tackled that pesky higher volume on commercials issue.

So, bottom line, the shoe is on the same foot for several more weeks.
