Dear Canadian neighbors
Now that DADT repeal (the lowest hanging fruit possible) is dead, is there a way for us to be granted asylum?

How about any civilized country?

How bad does it need to get in the United States of Bigotry before we can pack up and leave?

1. I think Gay folks should start claiming refugee status en masse in Canada
It may embarrass the fuck out of the government.

4. Montreal Village Gay = Bienvenue : welcome.
Claim refugee status (U.S. GLBT discrimination), and GLBT Marriages = Legal (Equal-Rights).

Bienvenue, welcome (if you don't mind 6-7 mths/yr. awful climate, but 4-5 mths/yr paradise-like summertime on a terrasse). :)

But for the armed-forces, I don't know much. Except that all Canadian forces in Afghanistan will be back home for good next year.

5. I live 2 blocks from Beaudry Station, and I'm here to tell you that
Once you've spent time in a place that genuinely doesn't give a rat's ass about whether you're gay, straight, or striped purple and green, you also won't give a rat's ass about the chilly winter. :)
