Democrats are a bunch of wimps
The left could have owned this country by now.

We have a few good Senators. Bernie Sanders. Well, Bernie Sanders.

Why do Democratic members of Congress tend to be such wimps?

I continue to vote Democratic, because the alternative is so terrifying.

What will it take for the Democrats to start fighting?

They're definitely better than Republicans, but isn't the DNC also run by corporations?

Even before Citizens United, this would have been a tough question. But now it seems even harder.

What can we do?

2. All we can do is keep voting and hope for the best.
I really do think that the majority elected go to Washington to get work done but quickly fall in line once there.

The majority are more interested in being reelected as soon as they take office rather than doing what the people elected the do originally do.

I always vote and hope others continue to do so. Staying home isn't an option, for me at least.

3. They are..
.... bought and sold just like Republicans. They are slightly more adept at hiding it.

5. It's so true. We finally elected someone who can match their rhetoric - Grayson - and
he gets voted out.

We need more people in the party like Alan Grayson. People who don't kiss the repugs behinds.

I am a huge Obama supporter, but I have to say, in both the press conference & on 60 minutes he sounded like a defeated wimp.
Put your foot down Obama & stand up to these clowns!

6. I don't think he has the ability to fight back.
For whatever reason Obama seems incapable of fighting. I find it to be astonishing how he can be so forceful campaigning, but terrified at confrontation and standing up for others. I've always fought for others, especially those who could not help themselves. They akways appreciated someone fighting for them. Almost everyone loves to have someone fighting for them. But somehow Obama has no idea what it means to stand up to the strong to help those who are being hurt.

7. I honestly think Obama is a really nice guy who can't handle confrontation.
It's a shame - he has so much to be proud of.

9. We must STOP looking for
Washington and it political whores to change!!!!We must be the ones to change. Knowing the information and not acting on it is just like sitting down watching a bad movie or program without changing the channel or getting a book. If we don't change it won't matter what he does!!!!
