and everything else on my mind.
I don't plan on spending any money buying Bush's delusional scribbles or watching his BS with those who'll softball him.
Democrats keep missing a huge opportunity to keep reminding voters how much harm the Dubya years did to this country.
Two wars that, except for profitting the military war machine, have brought down the economy, along with the TARP program that basically gave banks and Wall Street free money to gamble with, the endless lies, lawbreaking, policy changing, don't ask, they wouldn't tell, their way or the highway, corporations more concerned about profits than products, moving offshore to hide assets, not pay taxes, etc. etc. etc. We spent 8 years documenting all the BS that was Bush Inc.
The Justice Dept. seems to be absent. The criminals in the last administration seem to have escaped justice and the pols wonder why we aren't more enthusiastic about voting/donating in this so-called democracy.
And Mr. President, have a hissy fit every once in awhile, so we know you are concerned about the real injustices in this country and in the world. George Bush wasn't right most of the time, but at least you knew where he stood, and sometimes to voters, it counts to know the President has a heartbeat.
Reading today about 600 women in the Congo who've been raped, Afghani women setting themselves or being set on fire is a ongoing message that our two wars haven't made life better for women.
BTW, after reading Mat Bai's book, regaling Kos et al, has anyone written a book about DU, Skinner et al? Seems to me to be a no-brainer, with all the material sitting on this site.
After this election, I'm thankful Meg Whitman and Carly F. don't represent CA, as fucked up a state as we are. I hope people realize what a giant mistake voting in Arnold was. I hope people realize that smart women vote for what's between other women's ears, not their legs and what a female pol's policies are and will be.
I think Nancy Pelosi should replace Steny H. I'm glad lots of Blue Dogs lost their jobs. Not glad about Feingold losing his. I don't think Dems should sit back for the next two years but work with Obama to forward some real progressive FDRish bills, screw the Republicans.
I'm bushed.
