2. (It was a joke) - but think about it, that isn't far from the truth- been to a grocery store lately?

I refuse to use the self-checkout things, but all I ever hear from them is people bitching about it not working right and I've seen five employees helping four people over a fucking bag of apples on the scale or something equally stupid. That can't be cost-effective.

3. I just told the cashier at the grocery yesterday that I, too, refuse to

use those damn machines also, and she murmured "thank you". The only time I ever used one I had problems with it and had to wait til someone could stop what they were doing and help me. And, to add insult to injury, the cashier yesterday had to bag my groceries because they only had one person bagging. Anybody know how to combat this without getting the cashier in trouble because you're complaining? Please, don't use the self-checkout EVER.
